Oh alright, it's a discontinued product isn't it?

I mean shoot, if I don't like it I can probably sell it for much more and make money off of it.

But I don't think I won't like it, I've been seeing demos online and I really like it.

yeah its discontinued the upper model GNX4 is the one i have, i payed 1300 for it, still gonig strong, no problems or faults,

there are only some slight differences between the 4 and 3

so to see a GNX3 for 100 is a huge bargain

Australian dollars, where everything is stupidly expensive lol dead serious
we australians have large import rate + evil music stores

Yeah I hear everything down there is extremely inflated price wise.

Man that sucks, I would never pay that much for an effects board.
I mean I'm setting my new guitar Budget to 800 at the most

Thanks

I'm saving up that much for a Schecter Hellraiser.

just one question, say my amp blows out or something.
Can I plug in headphones into the Digitech GNX3 and still hear my playing or is an amp neccesary?

Okay that's perfect, Because I might get rid of my Line 6 Spider III for a better amp later so that helps.

The best part about the GNX3 is the 8 track recorder. I have both a GNX3 and a GNX4. I just picked up a GNX3 for $75, but I previously sold one about 6 months earlier for $150. The GNX3 has exactly the same FX and amp models as the GNX4. But the GNX4 has more functionality related to the recorder and connectivity. You should get MIDI cables or a USB to MIDI link because you really need to use your computer (GenEdit software) to tweak and save presets. You can do it on the unit but the computer is a lot easier. $100 is a great deal.

Look for a 128MB SmartMedia card to use with it. Unless it's already got one.
