I am looking for a pair of good quality noise cancelling headphones (not ear buds). i currently have the skullcandy skullcrusher with the subs but its almost like the sound isn't good, they just shake a lot. maybe something from bose??? i like rock and i want a good bass drum "thud".
any suggestions??

Denon D1001K. End of story. Bose aren't actually very good. They just make really crappy MP3's sound good. If you have a good recording, any Bose will just butcher it.

Skullcandy is sh*t. They're all just for looks, which is really gay. If you want good quality, get some Sennheisers.

^ I have a pair of Sennheisers and also a pair of Denons. For the average consumer, I would suggest the Denons. The reason being that the Denon D1001's are 32ohm resistance whereas a lot of Sennheisers are higher resistance and need to be amped to really take full advantage of them.
