Today I messed with my tone and found a new distortion that I like on my VOX AD50VTXL. Im playing with a Jackson DK2M with the Jazz and 59 SD pickups. My amp makes a high pitched ringing noise now no matter what direction I turn my guitar or how far away I get. When I play it goes away though. If it matters the new setup I found was I put it on the heaviest distortion setting and turned the Bass to 10, treble to 10, Gain to 10 and Mids to 1 I was searching for a good Dimebag tone so my band and I can record our cover of Domination. Any help?

Yeah but it says it stops when you touch your fingers to your strings. Mine doesn't.
