Hey guys! My friend Megan and I just recorded a cover of Death Cab for Cutie's "I will follow you into the dark" and posted it on YouTube. I haven't posted anything on here in a while and this is actually my first video, so I hope everyone likes it.

I'll return critiques to anyone who asks, of course.

Great jobs with the harmonies and great voices
Only thing I have to say is that balances were off.

The girls voice (because of the range she was at) was easily the loudest source and kind of drowned out your voice at times.
The guitar was also too quiet for my tastes.

Like I said, everything sounded beautiful, I just think that if the balance was a little better it would really bring out the beauty of every aspect of your production.

I like it, although it always annoys me when people rush a song too much. Other than the speed it was really good though. You both have strong voices and the guitar part was great, just try not to go so fast next time .

C4C? Just comment on one in my profile, there are many to choose from. Thanks!

Sounds amazing!!!!! I remember you from years ago!
Work to live, not live to work.
That was beautiful and definitely made me love that song so much more. The harmonies were fantastic and definitely worked with the song.

Could you critque my Paramore covers?

Good cover man!

Nice harmonies but might sound better slowed down a little bit. I also think the girl's voice was oversinging yours in some parts.

Could you rate my cover of Girl in the War on my profile please?

i'd say your guitar is out of tune, or you are accidentally muting strings that you aren't trying to, or your right hand isn't strumming at the same time that your left hand is fretting, or you could be reading the tab upside down...
