War Ripper is the solo project of Joel Grind on Hell's Headbangers. It's a combination of black metal, crust punk, and thrash which Joel has coined ''Satanicrust.'' I was skeptical and first seeing as the dude was involved in Toxic Holocaust, but when first I heard the Hell Storm 7'' EP at my friend's record store, all of my previous doubts were relieved. The music reminds me of a mix of Hellhammer and Amebix with more thrash influence, and also, the vocals are Venom.

I swear to God you guys, I will not sit back and watch this band be ignored. It is my duty as a fellow UG'er to spread the word of great new bands, and goddamnit I will not watch this thread die.

The vox sound fine to me...identical to Venom and Amebix.

Well, I've never been a fan of Venom, but in the case of Amebix the use of reverb was more cohesive. Here, the instruments have little reverb applied, whereas the vocals are friggin wet.

Don't get me wrong, I understand what he is going for and I appreciate it, I just found it a little distracting.

All a matter of opinion really. Either way, the energy in this band is unstoppable.

Sadly, it's pretty common around here. Unless of course, the band is completely uninteresting and has a violin player. I'll listen in two minutes.

I will kill you. Pretty good stuff though, just finished listening to the whole thing, it was rather short but good nonetheless.

Way too much reverb on those vocals, though I can see what he was going for. Overall it's not half bad, and a hell of a lot better than Mr. grind's other side projects.

I really don't see just what the problem is with the vocals. In crust, it's not uncommon really, or if it isn't that common, I think it fits the style.

Come to think of it, my penis should've listened to more death metal.

So my question is. Can Pre-Cum fluid pass through my underwear, my jeans, onto and through her jeans, through her underwear, and impregnate her?
