i found a Line 6 Spider 2 75 WATT amp for 100 bucks. it works perfectly. i was wondering on your opinon on if this is a good deal. Can u use pedals with it? im looking for a slipknot, metallica, nickelback, BFMV sorta sound. this is my second amp, and im i would be using it for bedroom practice. thank you.

Pedals will sound bad. That's the only opinion I really have. But for practice it'll do.

No.

For practice, it's fine. And it won't take pedals too well, that's why it has effects built in.

for bedroom practice u can find something much better, especially if u go used. and its a modelling amp, so no pedals will sound bad through it

for $100 yes - in general though the line 6 spiders series are not the best thing they have ever made. They do fantastic delay pedals though

quick syntax check, was that "no, pedals will sound bad" or " no pedals, will sound bad"

it should be the first...
