wondering how to play the /7 that appears. There's no place that I see a note to slide from to 7, so what do I do? Sorry for the noobish question. And no flaming my song choice!

it means you can slide from any fret really. just make it so you cant tell what the fret you start form is

you just slide to 7 from 2 or 3 frets up...every time you see /(fret number) you have to do that and when its \(fret number) you slide from above...

It's extremely easy. After all the Metallica songs are simple no matter what anyone says. In both speed, chords and techinque. i could name 1000 harder ones. Just memorize the thme and you'll be ok.
