Hey. Got a faded finish LP lying around. I'd like to get the finish glossy, like on a standard LP. How would i get this done? What i've assumed so far is that it's just to apply the clearcoats like normal, wait a month and buffer?

well, as far as i remember, the finishes on the faded series are kind of thin and not very vibrant, so i dunno how it would look with glossy clearcoat.

Yeah should work. You might need to key the finish but im not too sure with the faded.

I'd tell you to sand off the old finish, stain it the color you want, and do a french polish with some shellac.
