I have a Roger Mayer fuzz and it's great but it's got that internal bias setting on the inside and I don't know how it works. I'd like to know what it does and how to use it, even if I never touch it I'd still like to know exactly what it does.

Thanks but I'm still confused by it, I tried adjusting it and it only works within a very tiny range... like maybe 45 degrees max. Outside of that the volume just cuts out except I can get a little signal if my guitar is set to 10. Is this normal? I just put in a new battery too. Yes, it is a classic fuzz.
