Scored this for $750 at a place called Capitol Guitars, check them out if you're in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, great shop and some really nice guys working there. I was originally looking for an LTD MH-401 but apparently there isn't one for sale anywhere in Minnesota.. LOL
anyways, heres some pr0n

+100

Those might by nice artsy fartsy pictures, but can't really see the guitar in them.

Stand back a little and get a picture of the whole guitar.

In some ways, the knob close to the pickup is a good thing, you can do that Malmsteen thing where he adjusts the volume every pick by wrapping is little finger round the volume knob, it creates a great sound.

That's the standard position for a volume knob.

Also, lovely looking guitar, I love binding on necks, looks so sexy.

That's awesome! What kind of case did you get, by the way? It seem nice and sturdy? I'm looking for a case for my MH-401QM, as I need to bring my guitar cross country to go to school.

its actually a used case that i picked up at Music Go Round today for $30.. lol. great deal though, its very sturdy. I tried out a few normal strat cases and it didnt fit with my pointy headstock so make sure you try them out before you take it home.

I like having the knob close to the pup, makes it easier to do some fade effects or turn the pup off when im looking up a tab or something.

For reason, the M-1000 bit registered in my brain as EC-1000. When the FR, my mind was blown. Then I realized it is an M not an EC. She is a beaut though!
