I disagree. Reverb tanks rattle inside the amp and can cause all sorts of buzzy noises that you don't want plus they can cause unwanted feedback. I guess I can understand why some people would want it in the amp (tonewise) but most people would be happier if they didn't have to fight with the extra noise.
