I'm talking about the bands that don't do the same odd familiar metalcore riffs, but are still considered metalcore and are amazing.
#3
none. they all sound the same and suck.

What the hell are you doing in hardcore forums then? gtfo -.-

Probably For Today =/ they make "metalcore" riffs but their riffs are just awesome and unique.. check them out..

I recommend you: Saul Of Tarsus, Joel (The Watchman), Agape & Never Lose The Sight Of THe goals..

I have to say, that for you to say metalcore is unoriginal, then turn around and say that punk rock is the best...

I thought you were joking when I first read the post, until I saw your username and Favourite Bands list. Once again...

Unique metalcore...oxymoron? harharhar.

The Human Abstract
In This Moment (I think they're metalcore...)
Converge

That's all I can think of at the moment. If you want to venture into deathcore or mathcore I can help tons.

I have to say it because there the best!
The Devil Wears Prada!~
FTW!!!

Their first two albums are unfathomably generic and copy/paste riffs, except for maybe 4 or 5 songs at the most. Their new album is MUCH less generic, but still has the same breakdowns and stuff that many people bash them for.

I'd say most unique metalcore would have to go to these guys:

Underoath
Lamb Of God (I don't consider them metalcore really, but a lot of people do : /)
The Dillinger Escape Plan
"Music is an expression. Not competition." ~ Woe, Is Me

Guitar
ESP LTD Viper 400

Amp
Orange Crush 35LDX

The Fall of Troy
Turning Point
Between the Buried and Me
Wow, Owls!
Daitro
Botch
Converge
Protest the Hero
Unearth
The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Career Suicide
Closed For Tonight

I'm sure that most of them have been mentioned, but that's my list of interesting core.

Protest the Hero, even though I don't think they should be classified as metalcore.

So sick.
My style is impetuous.
My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.
