I finally got my dream guitar

Mint condition Fender Jazzmaster Classic Player. I traded my Guild T-100 for it, and I have not regretted it for one second. It plays amazingly well, and the pickups don't sound too bad. I'll probably swap them out for some Novaks or Lollars.

LOL at the last pic.
Congrats though.
You've wanted one for awhile.
Haha and props to you for putting this in GG&A.
That guitar is much to cool for EG.

Nice! I still want a tort/black Jazzmaster.

For some reason I feel like you're mocking me in the last picture
#6
Oh this probably should go in the guitar section huh? Oops.

And yes, we are way better

Yep. So now, once Warmoth finishes up painting my order, I'll have TWO Jazzmasters. Hellz yea.

And G, I am mocking you "I'm Johnny Marr!"

hater.

How is the neck? any sharp frets? Those seem to be the usual complaints with the Classic Series Jazzmasters/Jags.
#14
I'm a lover, not a hater.

Yea I had heard about the fret issues, but this one is fine. The neck is totally straight, no fret buzz. I think I got lucky on this guy

Nice Jazz, broseph. Doc Pain officially congratulates you.

Yea, I'm definitely keeping the tortoise haha. I dig it

I wish I had a handlebar mustache. That would make the aviator pic way better. Alas, I cannot grow facial hair
#23
I'm honestly not too fond of tortoiseshell in general, but I think it's just on the black that I don't much like. I think it works on the Costello Jazzmaster.

Still, ultimate Jazzy....try this....

nice

what i don't understand is why whenever someone gets a jazzmaster everyone else starts screaming "change YOUR pickguard I don't like it!!".

anyways HNGD
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

Youre an idiot. threadstarter, are you a Mike Einziger fan?
#32
The tortoiseshell is like the best thing there!!

It's my favourite possibility for the jazzmaster.

I like Mike Einziger, even though im not TS.

Just saw Incubus Sunday night... No Jazzmaster though if that's why he was referenced here, he used a SG most of the time, then towards the end a Tele I believe (the spirits had me by then.)

custom build?

I think Warmoth makes left handed bodies.

Although the sum total is pretty steep.

Still, worth it.
