Beacons is pretty different though, less Djent, more ambience.

This.

There's a lot less groove to it, but it kicks ass.

1.Beacons tied w/ The Discovery
2. Everything else...

I really haven't listened to the others as much. They just didn't grab me the first time through like Beacons and The Discovery did.

He uses programmed drums for all of them, Drumkit from Hell specifically I believe.

DFH? Lolnah. I don't know what he used for earlier stuff...something from toon track. But for the previous 2-3 he's been using Superior 1 and 2

I've been loving the untitled track on Beacons. It's a very effective closer.
Thoughts?

Saw it, was awesome.
Also, Untitled is the best song on Beacons. Discuss.

Not sure if I would agree with this. The first 3 tracks (not counting the intro) are really awesome IMO, as well as Amy, I love you. and Push it way up!

For me, it's Untitled > It's bad. We're hit, man > Push it Way Up! > We're goin' in. We're going down. > Everything else is equal. The whole album is fantastic, but I like these the best. Untitled just...it's so simple, but it's so effective. I dunno, it hits just the right chord with me, I guess.

I've only listened to one song from the Chimp Spanner album (Supererogation) but it was cool, the synths were absolutely stunning, is the rest of the album any good?
