any shinedown/rage songs in drop d that arent real hard?

if you're looking to play a rage style song in drop D then none of them will be difficult.

yea it's entirely possible that he switched to 7s later in his career or something. i don't know for sure as i'm not really a morbid angel fan. i came across the guitar first and found out who trey was second.

If you're looking for something a little less heavy (experiencing the flavours of drop D) then you could look into Joe Satriani's Oriental Melody. It really shows how you don't have to thrash to use drop D.
