I need to put my old 6l6 tubes back in my xxx, but there's a peice of plastic thats stopping them from going in, wtf?

Umm... yeah... line the plastic piece up with the hole that it goes in on the socket... it's not that hard

That's not the problem. The plastic around the tube won't go in the hole at all. There is also a piece of plastic in the tube socket that preventing it from going in there even when it's lined up.

we need pics to help you, sound to me like you broke off the timing key on your tubes. Post pics of the amp and the tubes
