Hi

Do you know of any good humbucker guitars in this price range, i have seen the prs se custom, are there any other good ones?

Thanks
#2
What kinds of music do you play, do you have any preference's to body materials, wood times, body shapes?
...
#3
I play using light to medium distortion usually. I currently have a squier strat so i realise that i will have to get used to a chunkier body, i also like rosewood fretboards.

Greenday and Nickelback at the moment
#4
also, i hate to ask, but what amp are you using?

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

There are literally thousands of guitars that fit your needs, you need to be really specific. Do you have a body preference or neck preference?

a les paul style body, a medium neck with medium to large frets.

What amp do you have now? And where do you live?

Vox - Valvetronix VT30 and I live in the UK

You should look at the guitar company Vintage and get the V100, or look at some PRS SE single cuts.

This vintage cost only £290 and is a much better value than a epiphone

If you don't like cherryburst, there are like 8 other colors.

I'd look into the PRS guitars like you mentioned, and maybe Ibanez too. I know they have some guitars in that price range, look at the RG range.

IMO only the 600 series and up is a value. Anything under is just a rip off.

ehh..... most of the time, stuff below 600 series is pretty crap, but there can be a couple good ones if you get the right ones

True, the only ones I liked below was the LTD F-256

If you're playing Green Day you can pick up a Gibson Les Paul Jr (even though you asked for a Humbucker guitar)for £599 from Guitar Village but if you're playing more Nickelback you should try out a PRS since Chad Kroeger uses one but his is probably worht like £2000+

thats just sort of a quality level, not an actual series of guitar. like, if LTD made a guitar in the 200 series, and then one in the 600 series, the 600 would be a better guitar all around as opposed to the 200 version

For Les Paul style guitars, try the Epiphone ones, or the LTD EC series. I think the LTD ones have thinner necks though, try them out. I think the higher range LTD EC's can be had for within your price range, I got a 401 (different body style) for $700, US money.

Epiphone Les Paul Custom Classic, the one that has the bumblebee finish, because it looks absolutely ****in' fantastic.

Lack of neck pickup XD. But honestly it's got a pretty good tone. And if you don't mind that lack of a neck pickup/already have a guitar with a somewhat versatile tone, the LP Junior wouldn't be a bad choice at all

Unfortunately, I'm not quite capable of answering that. However, I seriously doubt that they could be bad since Guitar World gave it a great review and it was rated 5 out of 5 by 5 different people on Guitarcenter.com

Easily one of the best guitars you could get.
Also, on eBay, I just found this lawsuit Washburn. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Washburn-Les-Paul-electric-guitar-w-hard-shell-case_W0QQitemZ320411217551QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV?hash=item4a99ff2e8f&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
I'd check those out, also maybe the Washburn X50 Pro, maybe check out Vintage brand as well.

Tokai Love Rock ll £599 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Tokai-Love-Rock-II-Electric-Guitar---Violin-Finish_W0QQitemZ370169673030QQcmdZViewItem

There are tons more I can think of but try:

Ibanez, Tokai, Gibson, Fender, Jackson, Vintage, Rally, LTD.

But i would really recomend Rally and Tokai
