So im trying to adjust the intonation on my guitar with a floyd rose tailpiece but on my 6th string the 12th fretted note i still sharp and my saddle is pushed all the way back. Any ideas what might be causing this? Thanks

make sure the FR is exactly level to the body of the guitar. and make sure ur not pressing too hard on the fret (there is a such thing) or bending it at all.

also, are you comparing the fretted 12th, to the open string?

or the fretted 12th to the 12th harmonic?

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

ok so my tailpiece has like a 15 degree slope down but from what i understood that was how to lower the action

^it needs to be level.

action is lowered at the bridge posts.

check out the floyd thread at the top of the page.
there's a tutorial and QnA in there.
