Last thursday I went to the local guitar shop and tried an, err, wussit, Spear Guitar. Neck-through, EMG-Hz pickups, 24 frets, neck was painted though so I didn't really care for that, but I still liked it, and I was actually dead set on getting it (after all, it's miles better than my motion stratocaster starter guitar).

Then, yesterday, I went to the guitar store in The Hague (hello thar, rock palace) and I played this one guitar for bout 2 hours straight so I had to have it eh.

Came home, and this is what happened:

Nice bag eh?

I really like the bag, can you tell?

Anyways so I open it up...

What the hell is this?

An AWESOME CD! and some picks and a note...

and when I open the note....

R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

Have patience, young grasshoppah

So as I said, I rushed outside.

There, I find...

Some sort of strange cabin has landed, in our back yard! Well would you look at that.

By now I'm pretty damn curious where that damn guitar went, so despite my common sense telling me that it might be a trap (no meme-reference intended) I open the door....

(I'm not stretching your patience in any way nor do I intend to, imageshack is just being a slow little whinechild)

Well the RA CD would get less listens in my CD player.

Though the track 'Waste of Time' on that United States CD might be proper at this point in time..

Anyways, I open the door, confirmed it's no trap.

And I find....

My new guitar! An Ibanez RGA 32 MOL.

More pics in the next post

The headstock's black, but the sunlight reflected off of it

Anyways, so here's some more pictures for this guitar, comin right up.

You can gaze.... into the BLACKNESS......

As much as I like weird colours n stuff, I'm a sucker for anything with a natural-ish look on it, so I couldn't resist this eh?

Ik zat zelf te denken aan Dimarzio Tonezones maar de pickups moeten toch wachten tot kerst, dus ik heb nog ff om te beslissen welke studeren is een dure hobby

You paying attention?

The reason I don't like painted necks is because most of the ones I played untill now had some weird finish on it which, mixed with sweat, makes it hard to move up n down the neck

Don't reallly care for the "NGD" abbreveation, but this is the BEST "NGD" thread I've ever seen, starts with my favourite picks (the pink'ns and the black'ns) and an awesome CD, onto a quest onto a guitar very similar to the first Ibanez I fell in love with.
