Lately I've been having problems with feedback during practices, mainly when I use any sort of distortion. This is frustrating because I'll have to turn the distortion or fuzz way down for songs that call for lots of gain and it doesn't sound right.
Any tips for controlling feedback?

I would guess that your pickups aren't potted and they're giving off microphonic feedback, but I'm unfamiliar with the guitar you own, so I can't guarantee that's the source of the problem.

Oh, and to help control it, I'd recommend not facing towards the amp when playing, possibly using less gain, or to play at a lower volume. None of those are much fun though.
