This.

However I prefer SSS.
Did you know the odds of a Vault-Tec shelter failing are 1,763,497 to 1?

So imagine life in a Vault-Tec Vault. Not just a future.
A brighter future... underground.

Patrolling the Mojave almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.

I agree. I love the sound of a bridge single coil through a really overdriven amp.

Firebird without any doubt for me.

I sorta know someone who has one (AKA I comment on his videos and I've spoken to him IRL once when he sold me my guitar ).

I envy him. Badly.

I also love the PGM 100.

He has it

And the PGM 500.

He has it

AND the caparison Applehorn in orange..

.... You can guess what I'm gonna say

They're actually making a stripped down version...

the XPT300, I think.

But does anyone know when they made the XPT750? It was red, and had D Activator X's instead of the original D Activators. I heard about it, but only once.

Strats, definately. Especially SSS cause humbuckers just don't give you that magic single coil strats do. And for those of you who say that single coils suck at metal, you're dead wrong. I still have stock pickups (gonna change them to SD/TexMex/TexMex by Christmas time)in my strat and I also borrowed a friend's pickup booster pedal and I love it

i use to do metal with the single coils in my strat and it sounded fine, my only problem other than tone preference is singles usually are lower output which doesn't sound as good under a lot of heavy distortion

edit: for the record, i really don't care for that guy's tone in the video

No offense, but that picture is that of a fake. I've played the real one. The main give-aways are the fact that the cut away curves up a bit more that Eclipses and that the twelveth fret inlay would not be "ESP" but instead "EC-1000".

That's not a ltd ec-1000, it is a actual ESP eclipse.

OK, you got me there, but that one is still a fake. Four knobs. Real one's have three, and the cut-away is wrong.

XD yea Marty was really the reason i looked into them in the first place.
Yeah, Marty inspired me to get a Kelly along with Dave Mustaine/Phil Demell getting me intrested in the King V/Rhoads shape.

So, since the Kelly was mentioned, I'll mention:

I love the way the King V looks, sounds, and feels.

Most definately agreed. That rounded scream is fantastic - the dirty sex with a hot MILF of music.

Actually, on reflection, sod you! You may have just cost me money. I've reached the point where I can justify shelling out on something half decent, and have been resisting the temptation to shell out, but you may have just pushed me into using tomorrow's day off to pick up an American Standard... Grrr! All I can say is I'm glad you didn't specify an amp, or you'd have worked out more expensive than Gordon Brown.

That said, on looks alone it's got to be one of these things...
Oh, now I've gone and spilled my tea. This really won't do at all.
