Hey guys, i have a Richwood Stallion pro. I recently started playing and i bought it. On my guitar you have offcourse a volume and 5 different modes you can put the guitar on but also 2 "tone"controllers. I tried them but it doesn't seem to change the sound a lot, could anybody tell a newbie like me where they are for and what they do?

I'm guessing that is a Stratocaster copy right...

OK, guitar has 3 pickups.

1 closest to the neck
2 middle
3 closest to bridge

the 5 way switch is like this

Position 1 (toward neck) = Neck Pickup on
Postion 2 = Neck & Middle pickups both on
Position 3 = Middle pickup on
Position 4 = Middle & Bridge pickups both on
Position 5 = Bridge pickup on

the TOPmost tone knob controls the Neck pickup
the other tone knob controls the Middle pickup.

There is no tone control for the bridge pickup.

so if your 5 way switch is in position 5, then there is not change to the tone.

Hope that helps..

Indeed, i like the sound of the bridge pickup so that's why the tone-controllers didn't change anything. I noticed a change in other postions but could never quite tell what it was, you really helped me out, thanks.

the tonal changes will be subtle unless you playing loud what amp are you using as this as more bearing on tone.
