Fake...dead giveaway on the truss rod cover

EDIT: He's not claiming it to be real, but I still wouldn't chance it, as he only probably spent 300 on it, and its most likely a piece of junk

I am selling this near perfect replica for $600 firm.

sounds like it's a fake, and he knows it. obviously he could sell it to a music store, get completely ripped off, and still get more than $600 if it's the real deal

Definitely fake even the wording in the ad confirms it. It's not worth $600.00 I have seen the knockoffs go for well under $300.00 w/HSC.

Wow.... he said

"I have a near perfect replica of the Slash's Gibson Les Paul. The guitar is flawless and sounds amazing! Guitar quality is comparable to a Gibson's, and is much better than most Epiphone's. Don't waste your money on the Epiphone version ($1500) or the Gibson version ($3600)"

He is not trying to sell it off as real, he is actually saying it is fake.

That's what most people call it, slash got a fake les paul made to be more like a 59 gibson and he calls it a replica.

You and the OP are both tools. Epic fail for you both.

Slash's is a replica of a '59 Les Paul. But it is a REAL Gibson. This guy makes it extremely clear that this is neither a real Gibson, nor even a real Epiphone. Maybe it's a really well-made fake, and worth $600. A Heritage fake sure would be. And maybe it's just particle board with a nice laminate. Who knows? Either way, this guy isn't representing his guitar as anything other than a fake Slash LP. He even says so two or three times.

I'm not even sure epic fail covers it. Is there anything more than that?

I smiled, but not everyone knows the ins and outs of Slash's replicas...

Because it would ruin the point of a clever metaphor.

For some reason, it doesn't even really look like a real Les Paul shape to me. It looks... different.
