Cyanide probably, it's fairly easy to pick up and sounds pretty good as well. It's probably the only song I like from that album, but hey, whatever floats your boat.

Creeping Death... Ride the Lightning... Fight Fire with Fire if you're bold enough

Kill 'Em All.... Four Horsemen is fun. Most riffs from KEA aren't very hard.

Master of Puppets has basically no bad song on it IMO.. So try that too.

Up yours death magnetic haters. If there's any Metallica album we shouldn't love, it's St Anger. The last minute or 2 of Day That Never Comes is pretty easy, with the exception of what Kirk is doing

It's hardly half as good as anything else metallica has put out and i'm not even a fan of older metallica. Plus Lars' snare!! Every time I hear that tin can

On topic, most of it is really easy.

The lack of guitar solos for one (one of the main things Metallica is known for) and it doesn't sound like they put a lot of effort into any of the songs. The song St. Anger is good, but the rest of the album is lame

Why the **** is everyone hating on DM? People are allowed to have different music tastes, so why doesn't everyone actually help TS out with Death Magnetic riffs, not other albums...

Cyanide is the easiest
Day isn't that bad, but if you don't want anything more than simple don't go anymore than the faster bit if you get me
Suicide and Redemption
Nighmare is alright as well, although tbh its mostly open E's palm muted

Its heavy, raw, and solid.. I don't understand St Anger haters... I like the drum's as well, it gives it the edge..

End of the line is pretty easy, S&R has some easy riffs in it.

If you dont like DM, dont post, fairly simple concept. Watch some kind of monster aswell, will make you appreciate St.Anger a lot more aswell

RE: St. Anger,

To me, the album sounds like more of a collection of demos than a complete record. There were some great ideas there I think, but its like they tried really hard to make it sound raw, which just ended up making it sound like ****.

If the whole album would have been "tightened up" some, I think it would have been a great "comeback" record for them. Better vocals, trim some of the longer/repetive songs down, get rid of some of the crummy parts that plod along (the verses on St. Anger, the "oooooooh what a good boy" bridge on Invisible Kid, etc)......

I think Death Magnetic is good, besides the crummy sound quality.
