2nd Wave energy is awesome. I love the specials, and if you like them definitely check out Toots & the Maytals. I love me some good second wave.

Pretty much if you don't like the Specials, you don't like Ska hahaha. Dude I'm jealous I've wanted to see them live for years, looks I'll have to hop the pond and see them in London

Are you talking about that episode of Father Ted? That show was so funny!

The Specials were on TV last night joined by, believe it or not, Amy Winehouse.

I can't remember which song it was, but it sounded great with her Additional vocals.
However I was pretty drunk, so it could have been awful.

Amy had been covering a lot of Specials songs before the Specials announced their reunion, that's probably why she joined them on stage. Can't say I'm a fan of hers but it's cool that she likes the Specials.

i personally think winehouse is a joke.
but if she can sing with the specials, and sing well, she deserves some respect.

I saw that video of her singing the Specials and it was absolutely the worst live performance I ever could have imagined.

Also, The Specials have to be the #1 most wrongfully-labeled "obscure" band ever.

Hammersmith Apollo I think...

We've got seating but it's supposed to be easy to just stroll into the standing area.
