I just dropped my Les Paul face first because I am completely careless. The place where the neck and headstock meet has cracked but not completely. It sort of looks like only the paint has cracked, but I am not too sure. I'll try to get pics up.

What I want to to know is how much it'll cost to fix it.

right, cuz the first thing we all think of when having a medical emergency is to go talk on the UG forum...
"Hey UGers, what's the number to 911?"

It's an epiphone right?

I don't know for sure, I've never had to take a guitar for repairs...
If I had to guess, Probably close to the same amout for a new guitar.

Yeah, it's Epi. I'm not sure if it would cost THAT much. I read on a luthier's website that it's inexpensive, and my friend thinks it's about $60-$110.

"Black gives way to more black."

I have UG Black Style and I can barely read my signature.

Also, I like black.

You'll never know until you call up a luthier and ask. A repair job on a neck couldn't possibly be more than a new guitar itself, even if it is an Epiphone.

For the record, stuff like this is why I love Fender/Squier. My Strat got knocked over face-first last night and I think the FLOOR was worse for wear!

Eh, that's why I said I don't know and if I had to guess.
And didn't say it would be MORE than a new guitar, just close...

Cost will depend largely upon who repairs it for you. There's a guy at my local GC who tried to charge a friend +$100. another friend's dad on the other hand was willing to do it for $70. Find a luthier and ask.

I can't tell from that picture either, though.
