Well, the title is basically my question.

I love the ac15 (aside from the reverb), and it plays all the styles i do, but is it worth it?

With a stomp eq in the effects loop of my Ad100VT im getting some really nice, open sounding tones, so im still hesitant.

UG's opinion?

Definetly worth selling for the ac15. The ac15 is a much better amp imo, but I was a bit disappointed by the ad100VT.

Could you make a guess of how much i could sell it for?

Its worth AUD $1200 here new, however i snagged it for 800 by telling the manager i found it in another store for 899 and i wouldnt pay more than 800 for it.

I was hoping for around 600-750 (seeing how stores still sell it for 1200). Its in perfect condition.

(and p.s. any other opinions?)

I'd say you could probably get that much for it. Plus the fact that you bought it for 800 is a plus too. I'd say try to go for like 750 because most people try and haggle.

Hmmmm, that's a tough one. I LOVE my VT100 but I don't know how much different the AD series of valvetronix amps sound. The AC15/AC15TB models on my VT leave me plenty content. Plus I can get that tone a lot louder then a real AC15. But there is something about a real tube amp's dynamics. I say play the AC in person and decide for yourself. It's just a lot of money for what you get, that'd be the big dilemma for me.
