Anybody have experience with this guitar? http://www.guitarcenter.com/Ibanez-Artcore-Series-AF75TDGIV-Hollowbody-Electric-Guitar-104794359-i1386619.gc

I'm considering getting it once i've got the cash, and even though I'll (attempt) to try it out at a local GC, i wanna hear some opinions.

I wrote a review on here about it...might wanna read it.

Basically, it's good for the money but not up to spec with say, a Gretsch.

Also the bridge is not glued to the body and the Bigsby is a bitch to calibrate and tune with. I REALLY reccommend the hard tail. I wish I got it instead.

It's nice for the money, definitely. I liked it better than comparably priced Epiphones and Korean Gretsch guitars. It can't be compared to a good Gibbo or US made Gretsch though.

Imo it's worth saving up for the Artcore Custom models, nicer guitars all around. Have a look at Hagstrom semi- and full-acoustics as well, I didn't try them out extensively, but I enjoyed the few minutes I noodled around on them.

Any other semi-hollow suggestions for around or below that price? An Ivory color option preferred.

That was exactly how I was. I was dead set on white and I didn't want anything else, so I neglected the other Ibanez series.

The AK95 series is far superior and i actually do wish i picked one up instead. I know the color seems important, but anything will grow on you.

Well, I'm already set for a main guitar(Epi Explorer), but I'm in my school's show choir and wanted to pick up a cheap but decent quality semi-hollow for it. Plus, the other guitarist's strat is Olympic White, so I figured Ivory would match decently.

I went in to try it just a few days ago actually.

Pretty good guitars for the price. Although I'd reccomend paying the $50 extra and grabbing the AF95 though. I played both and I found that the 95 had a better warmer Jazzier tone to it. That's just me though.

Do you need a bigsby?
Epiphone make great value hollowbodies,
maybe a casino or wildkat?
I love white guitars!
