Anyway try .10 strings, they are not thin nor thick and you should be able to bend them easily. Remember to use 3 or 4 fingers to bend.

he means overall gauge. a set of 9's are easier than 10's, etc.

Lighter strings bend more easily than heavy strings because they are under less tension. Personally, I like light top, heavy bottom strings because they allow for easy bending on the higher strings but don't get to floppy in the lower couple strings.
