I'm currently deciding whether to buy (im left handed)

A Hagstrom Viking II
http://www.hagstromguitars.com/Viking.html
OR
A Hagstrom F200P
http://www.hagstromguitars.com/F200P.html

and also i'm not sure whether to get the viking with soapbar pickups or humbuckers im probably gonna go with humbuckers if i go for that guitar , my style is quite proggy/jazz
I use little distortion and like a rather clean tone , so guys help me out...

if you use very little distortion and love a good clean tone i'd go with p90's. they will hum with much gain, but if you switch the pickup switch to the middle position (both pickups at the same time) you won't get any hum at all.

i prefer the solid body one myself

F200P, but if you like hi-gain stuff, ill recommend you to find a similiar guitar with humbuckers and if you like single coils, coil-tap is a good idea.

Im not much for them visually.. however between the two I prefer the F200P. But if you already have a solid body with humbuckers which can coil tap, maybe the other would give you a completely different feel to what you have being that its semi-hollow?

I believe in the "personal opinion" school of thought, I doubt you've heard of it. Now, go waste your time on something that doesn't annoy me

Yer i suppose the semi-hollow would give me a wider range of sounds i think? however there are no videos of it on the internet just the viking or the viking deluxe not the viking II.
From the videos i've seen though the f200p sounds very good

There's no shops for a very long distance (60-100 miles) with them in stock
and if they would be in stock they wouuld almost definitely be the right handed one which isn't too much of a problem but still slightly annoying

i'd go for the viking. they're beautiful guitars and they sound great. my mate has one and i can barely put it down when i go to visit.

i love the look of the viking.. you'd get a more jazzy feel to it since it's a semi hollow.. the F200 doesn't look much of a P90 guitar to me.. with all those spikes, more like a progressive P90 guitar.. but i don't know.. i just like semi-hollows better.. if you want, you could put some Phat Cats or Dream 90s on the Viking so the jazz box would have that P90 flavor..
