My friend's dad has an old egmond guitar that doesn't work anymore .
I was thinking of fixing it and i'd like to know what its name is and if it's any good.
This pic looks like it except it has some buttons you can slide up and down to control the pickups , like on a jaguar.

So does anyone know what guitar this is?

You shouldn't hit your drummers. You're supposed to be nice to them, or they'll be scared of you.

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

Sums up whisky perfectly

Hmm it's not that one , it has 3 slide buttons like on a jaguar .
I'll try to get it (i'm not even sure if he really wants to give it) and fix it but it will need a lot of work.will post pics if it's done .
Anyone know where I could find more info on egmond guitars?
The pic in the original post looks like the guitar but it's not my pic i'll try to get a real pic soon.

that's a really cool looking guitar.. more like a mix of a jaguar and a custom since it has 3 buckers.. so it's a jaguar custom..
hope you fix it.. that's gonna be awesome when done! just look how long the strings are.. they're stretched to the very end of the guitar..

Egmond is indeed dutch, they existed from the 1930's to the 70's.Made a lot of different guitars. Not all of m were good but some are fine guitars. Really like this one! Congratz, nice find. Where u from btw?

I really hope I can get it now because i don't know if he really meant it .
But it's a shame that it's just sitting unused in a closet.
