What? I'm confused on what this thread is about

EDIT: Did the band's guitarists use the Spider IV??

When was the IV released? Pretty new, right?
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

This is just someone trying to boost their band's myspace hits/friendlist I think. If not, at least tell us where the demo is! The link to your myspace tells us nothing, other than what your band sounds like in the studio.
Hey, look. Sigs are back.

EDIT 1: I have ****ed I dont want to copy that link, that band isnt even mine, sorry sorry, now the link is OK

I sounds better than the III but I bet it's gonna be incredibly overpriced, pretty neat sounds though!

The distortion still sounds horrible, but the built in harmoniser looks good.

All the artist presets are absolute Garbage. I wanted to kill myself if these were considered "300 of the greatest artists" also "on the tail of the best selling amp in the US, the Spider III"

Theyre trying to draw connections to the Spider III, youd think the Spider IV would be trying to distance themselves from that garbage, but they want you to think its like the Spider III.

some of the effects sound cool, the harmonizer and the whammy-not-called-whammy sound cool, but as someone already said, the distortion sounds horrible, might give it a fairly-deserved try, you never know.

Someone clearly doesn't know how to sell products
All the kids who have the S3 right now, will want to upgrade.

TBH, it seems as though it will sound much better.
But, I'm not expecting anything special.

I'm very skeptical about it, it doesn't seem to be a huge improvement, if any, from the Spider III.

I don't really like the presets, I think they mostly sound nothing like what it actually sounds like, then again to my ears and from only a video. I'd like to try one.

It's like all the kids who had the Nintendo DS, They loved it thought it was great but when the DSi came out they put them all away since it has a camera and online features.

The Spider IV is gonna have to be something i try out. The distortion is still meh but some of it might be nice for a beginner now.

To Be Honest, I Tried This Amp Today In My Local Reverb, And I Thought It Was Terrible
I Have A Spider III 75 And I Realy Couldnt See Any Difference In Sound, And They Only Added A Few More Models And An Auto Wah Knob, Which Didn't Perform Well.
I Thought The Tuner Was Bull As Well. Tried To Tune My Guitar On It, And It Kept Volleying From Sharp To Falt, Like It Couldn't Register The Pitch
I Tried The Meshuggah Setting, Cos I Knew What It Sounded Like Through The III, And It Was...Different, I Think It Comes Through A Bit Heavier On Mine, Like A Real Chugging Distortion, But I Found The One On The IV Was Too Trebly, I Kow You Can Change It, But There Are Some Features They Shouldnt Have Messed With

Flame All You Want, You Know I'm Right

The distortion is as fizzy and harsh as ever. There is a bit of improvement though. Nothing like the Flextone or Vetta though.

Agreed that it is way better than the Spider III. In my opinion, it is still suck. I tried one out at GC a few weeks ago. I was disappoint.
