Omar Abidi's (Fightstar) kit sounds purely amazing, heres an example,

Jimmy O'Sullivan from Avenged Sevenfold (Awesome band - stupid stage names.) is a close second for me though.

EDIT -

To everyone on about ''Drummers don't have tone'', and such:

Mitch Mitchell had a good recorded drum sound, like the tracks "Fire" and "Hey Joe"

Other than that, Ginger Baker springs to mind as having an excellent sound, especially on Fresh Cream
Squier Classic Vibe Custom
Vox Pathfinder 15R
Fender Jazz Bass

Do drums have a note value?
Like if u hit the bass drum, can u say for instance, that thats an E note?

Can drums be out of tune with the rest of the band then?

I assume they do but the notes are so muted (like if you were to heavily palm mute a guitar) that u can barely tell-cos they dnt ring out.

Somebody help me

no they dont. they get outta tune but its not the same outta tune that a guitar or piano for example get. and im sure if you have perfect pitch you can hear a note or something but no, i don't think so

Matt Tong from Bloc Party - my favourite drummer.

David Lovering in 'Surfer Rosa' (although this is partly down to the production).
Yes, I use a Squier bass.
