So I'm going to get a new amp for my birthday, and I've pretty much narrowed it down to these choices. I play some metal (but not SUPER heavy, heaviest is probably Protest the Hero or Lamb of God), pop-punk/punk (Green Day, Rise Against), and just other random types of music (Tool, Metallica, Pink Floyd, Radiohead). Which of these would be better for me, and are either loud enough for band practices or any type of gigs (if they're not, that's fine, since I'm not in a band yet). Also, if you have another recommendation, please tell me, but my budget is pretty much $250.
Thanks.

I suggest you save up for a tube amp, it's worth it.

Did you read my first post? Also, I don't have a job, so I don't have the time to save up that long for a tube amp.

Save up about another $50 and try to find a used Blackstar HT-5.

Edit: Nevermind.

A used Vox AD50VT is ideal. You can pick them up from ebay or craigslist very easily. It is perfect for jamming with a drummer and practising in your bedroom. It doesn't have the most convincing of heavy metal tones, but for Lamb of God, it's solid.
