Bigger frets require you to use pressure with your fretting fingers, so they make legato playing along with tapping easier. Applying too much pressure will make the notes sound sharp and out of tune, so they require a light touch. Personally, I don't like jumbo frets, I prefer medium, they just feel better in my opinion.

bigger requires less pressure and are easier to bend and vibrato.
