This may well have been done before, but what is your favourite solo of all time? I was listening to November Rain earlier and the solo in that has to be mine. Amazing tone, melody, just generally rather cool. But I know other people will prefer more metal ones and stuff. So go ahead. Break a leg.

Pretty radical and unknown eh?

Asking the Pit to play this is kinda like asking the guy who makes suggestive gay jokes if he wants to have sex with a man.

You can't tell, but the video someone further up said to watch was this. Unfortunatley you "copying" is against the rules. For this I must ask you leave the big brother house.

Dragon Mistress by Marty Friedman is pretty nasty...

and on the softer side, Hotel California always had a nice solo.

WTF are you talking about

Losin' Your Mind - Pride and Glory has a great feel too, it's nothing epic but it's damn nice.

Not just the solo, but best song ever, Get You Back by Shawn Lane.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcUx2ESTqEU

Perfect tone, perfect phrases, perfect feel, perfect technique, just absolute perfection. From the first minute to the last, it's flawless. I'd say the actual "solo" starts about 5mins and on.

I didnt have anything planned out, and I didn't know **** about improvising, so it was like "OH SHI- SOLO TIME" so I kerry-kinged it.

How has no one said Comfortably Numb yet?
Satriani's live preformance of "Made of Tears" is also one of my personal favorites.
