Hi,
What would be a good low wattage tube amp? I'm thinking something I can get overdrive at bedroom level. Something like 5 watt maybe? Don't know if it would be small enough. I play blues, rock, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Stevie Ray Vaughan primarily. I would like something that sounds like a Twin Reverb or like those Marshall that can give me a good Hendrix tone. Imagine I don't have any budget.

Thanks.

Those are either not fully tube or not low enough wattage for simple bedroom playing, thanks.

COME AGAIN?

What do you want to suggest? Tube preamp, power amp and rectifier? Should the whole amp be built out of vacuum tubes to sate your tube desires?

Well, to be considered an all-tube amp, an amp needs to have tube pre-amp and tube power-amp. The rectifier doesn't need to be tube.

Even a 5W amp is too loud to crank for bedroom playing, keep that in mind.

As far as I am aware, those have tubes in their preamp and power section. Maybe you can share which aren't fully-tube.

Maybe you would like to use YOUR "enlightening wisdom" to read correctly each post from the beggining so you can see that it's not me who said that some of the suggestions were not tube amp.

edit: ho looks like you edited your post. But still, read correctly.

I'm not sure but I think the Vox AD5TV is not a tube amp.

Yeah, I was just being an arse while handling a difficult client, then I decide that it wasn't too nice.
