AC30 all the way!
But I do love Orange's stuff though. Orange don't get a lot of respect they deserve IMO.

For the styles you play, the Rocker 30 should be nice. Since you are located in Europe, look at the H&K Statesman Quad EL84 as well. Another (more versatile) option would be the Engl Screamer combo.

I like the Statesman because it is imo one of the few amps in the 1000€ range that has good cleans AND good drive, not just one of the two. I definitely preferred it's clean tone over the Rocker's. The drive is less 'ballsy' than the Rocker's drive, but stays clearer and more articulate at higher levels. Nevertheless, the tone is definitely old school, not modern, so it should be just right for what you are doing. Not like the Rocker is a bad amp though, of course. This is a matter of preference entirely.

The Engl Screamer is just a nice allrounder that I throw in for good measure. It's got a relatively modern voicing, so maybe it's not for you. It is very versatile though, so definitely worth a look.

EDIT: clicky clicky:

I'd take the Orange in your shoes, but the AC30 is tempting for me on a personal level.

Same here, the Rocker puts me off personally because of it's "clean" channel, I like full built in EQ's on my clean channel please.

But for what TS is looking at, the Orange Rocker looks like the best bet.
