Will a POD/V-Amp plug straight into a 4x12 cab and work as a virtual amp ?

Gigging this Friday and the backline for the gig is thin and I use a 2 amp setup, all they are providing is a cab so want to know if I can use the cab and hook my V-amp to it for my clean tone.

Cheers

dont think so ... the v-amp by itself is a preamp ... not it doesnt have any power (WATTAGE) source and cant be plug directly ijnto a cabinet .

you need power amp ..

think the v-amp as a multi effect distortion pedal ... except you can record and play thorugh heapdhone on it .

im pretty sure its the same with the pod .. these unit doesnt have a waattage by their own .
