Hey guys, as some of you might know, I'm putting together a "starter pack" of resources for wannabe guitar builders. I'm hoping to include basic information on everything related to building.

So far, I have:

- Building Electric Guitars (a free 240-page e-book I found)
- Design, Production, and Repair of electric guitars (another 150-page e-book)
- The templates from the template thread
- A set of pdf plans for an LP, SG, Flying V, Strat, Tele, and Jem.
- A Word document of Links, mostly from the resource thread, plus a few I've found on my own

I'm posting this thread to ask for any other contributions people may have that they'd be willing to contribute. Anything related to wiring would be awesome.

Like I said the other day, I'll do a writeup on how to build the Arm The Homeless and Tom Delonge Stratocaster Replicas.

I figure that if you're including all those how-to-build step by step resources, I can be fairly vague on how to, exactly build them, k'naamean?

Also, make sure to throw "How To Do a Killswitch" in there...

Div, I will take those, although I am purposefully refusing to read where you got them from

Bobby, I'll definitely take you up on that offer.

Peyton, those are both great.

This is going to be amazing just because of that.

Would this be useful/legal? http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/4750915/Audio_Wiring_Guide__How_to_wire_the_most_popular_audio_and_video

edit: ^That link is a bad idea... let's just say I got to see FOTB for a few minutes...

How will it be presented?

Will it have sub-categories/ sections etc or will it just be links to stuff?
#29
Ok, so my email wont let me attach them, I can click attach but they wont get uploaded... is there another way I can get the e-books to you?

Guys, just a thought here:

Be very careful talking about and providing torrents and ebooks which have clear copyright. If you don't own it, and it's not intended by the owners to be free, don't talk about or transmit it here.

What if we posted this on wikipedia too? If they take it down then they take it down. It's easier to get to where you want to with the overview bar on the top left instead of scrolling down looking for what you need and it's overall more organized.

this is a great idea. this kinda thing is what i love about GB&C, all the regular/knowledgeable posters never hesitate to selflessly give up their own time to help others.

This may actually provide me with the much needed nudge in the right direction to get off my arse and built a guitar
