Yesterday I was playing my Guitar, and the sound cut out. I didn't know what to make of it at first, and couldn't figure out what the problem was. I know it's not my amp, because I tried another Guitar and it works fine, so I know it's the Guitar thats the problem.

I did some research but couldn't find any solid issues on what the problem I'm having is, I was figuring it could be the volume pots or something of that sort. Has anyone else experienced anything similar to this?
I once played a guitar that would only work if the volume knob was in a certain position, so it could be that or take the backplate off and make sure that there aren't any loose wires.

open up the guitar, check the output jack, check all the connections check the pots and spray some contact cleaner in the pots........
