My budget is £1200 (around $2000). I play a variety of rock from classic to modern. My guitar is a PRS Swamp Ash Special. I use some effects, but not many. I need an amp which is tubed, bedroom level but able to get to a small gig volume (not on cleans). Ideally, I want something that can get me british tones, in the style of Marshall or Orange (I like both), but without the 50w+ volumes on a high quality amps made by big companies!

I'll see if I can try out a Hellcat as well. JesusCrisp, I'd prefer an AD to a rocker!

Sorry, I forgot the AD.
BTW, good luck.

Guy in my band brought this to practice one day... I made fun of him for a bit about how small it was... it could actually over power my 150W Marshall half stack. It can go gig loud but still stay quiet enough for bedroom practice.

I'm probably going to be picking one of these bad boys up when I move into my new apartment...

that would be a solid state half stack?
