Ok i was thinking of adding a piezo pickup to my tele for DADGAD acousticy sounds. How exactly would i go about installing it and how much trouble would it be?

Also could i add a 4-way switch so that:
pos1=piezo
pos2=bridge pup
pos3=bridge + neck
pos4=neck pup

On stuff like the Fishman powerbridges, you have to route a battery compartment for the preamp... I looked into it for my Thinline Tele but decided it was a bit major for that one. Not sure what alternatives there are these days.
Fender Thinline Tele 69' RI --- Gibson SG Special --- Epiphone Dot with Bigsby --- Squier Custom Tele II P90 --- Saga LP kit --- Yamaha FG-403MS acoustic

Ok i'd rather not have to route the guitar. Are there any piezo TOM bridges that wouldnt require routing?

can you read? he said TELECASTER. dumbass.

now then, i would suggest going the fishman route, i've never heard anything bad about them, and i've heard they resist feedback very well.

*insult that starts a shit-storm*
Bad juju to call someone out like that.
But I guess you know that at this point.

Anyway, time for peace and a lesson learned, yeah?

TS, take the 4-way switch issue to the Guitar Wiring thread when you're ready.
A 4-way Tele switch can be made to do that.
