I would like to know your favorite acoustic song because im looking to learn a mainly acoustic song.

Any way my favorite acoustic song would have to be When the children cry By white lion. Its a pretty technical piece with a lot of finger picking, and even though the solo is electric this song has a great sound!!!

Maybe Over the Hills and Far Away by Led Zeppelin...or Diablo Rojo by Rodrigo y Gabriela despite the fact that it's on classical guitars...no, wait, Mediterranean Sundance by Al di Meola and Paco de Lucia has to be it.

It's a tough choice between "Glimmer of Hope" by Antoine Dufour, "Wish you Were Here" by Pink Floyd, "Wonderwall" by Oasis, and "Fire and Rain" and "You've got a Friend" by James Taylor.

I love Green Day's acoustic songs. At least the ones I know. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) and 21 Guns. Something about Billie Joe's voice really lends him to that kind of music.

Another band that does some great sounding acoustic stuff (if you're a fan of the band that is) is Relient K. They don't have very technical sounding songs, but when it comes to the acoustic its either an instrumental or an accompanyment to your voice.

And, of course, Jack Johnson. Relaxing, fun, and just flat out enjoyable songs to chord and sing to.

Over The Hills And Far Away is one of my favourite campfire songs... Tangerine is fun, too.
A lot of Opeth stuff, like "Face of Melinda" or basically the entire Morningrise album... A good chunk of Damnation, too, like "Death Whispered A Lullaby"... "Blackwater Park" is not an acoustic song, but damn does it sound good acoustically.
Antoine Dufour is great, otherwise, check out Django Reinhardt.
"Echoes of Spain" gets the girls every time...

Well, OK, no. But whatever.

Actually most of those songs from those bands are decent when they're acoustic.
