Randall RM80 with Blackface, Clean, 1087, and Ultra Lead modules

Style: Metal
Great amplifier. JJ 6V6's give me 25W of power, plenty for bedroom practice. If i need to, i can krank it up toe 80W with some 6550's or KT88's. Clean has a little too much gain, but a simple R1 mod will fix that. Blackface came with bad preamp tubes, so no comment on that. Ultra Lead sounds good, but not brutal enough for me. Sending it to Pete Turley once i get th money so he can turn it into a Mesa Mark. 1087 is great; with some Tung-sol's, i'm sure it will come alive. If not, then i can always get Anthony to mod if for me. Either 1666, Benzin, Pit Viper, Deadplate, Custom 3, or Angel (once it is finished). Overall an amazing amp, and great improvement over my old spider.

Payed $570 used, ULead and Clean included. Shipping was $130, but he let us pay $70 b/c that is what he initially told us. power tubes where bad when it came, but i have the JJ's and all is good. Discontinued amp and modules, so this was a great deal. After six months of waiting, i am finally a proud MTS owner

kustom 12 guage, 2 channel, low end SS, cheap celestion speaker and 16watts

blues, stoner/doom metal stuff, and a little bit of 80s heavy metal

Its OK, given the price i paid for it I'm pretty surprised actually. With some EQing i can get some decent tones. Its obviously no JCM800 or anything, but the lead channel is pretty good for black sabbath and early metallica. It's not so great at dialing in crunchy Led Zeppelin type stuff, and once you turn the gain past halfway its not very usable. The clean channel is ok, very unresponsive, but sounds fine

I only paid 120$ for it, Its definetely not bad for a starter amp, but i could use an upgrade
i play a vox vr 30.
i think of myself as a metal musician that doesn't want to only play metal. at the moment though i just play w/e my teacher gives me to play.
i paid $200 for it.
i'm not happy and i'm not sad with it. if i get $900 though i might upgrade to my teachers marshall halfstack. that's in a perfect world though.

Free, since it belongs to our rehearsal studio.

Ibanez *something* 15w
Practice amp, play pretty much everything on it.
It's okay, better than nothing.

Ampeg SS-140C
I play mostly metal (death, black, thrash) and also some trippy psychedelic clean stuff (would that be rock? lol). My only problem with it, is it won't do porno grind (like Gut). Unless of course I use a dirt box. Read my review for more information.

In general, I love it. Fantastic amp, easily would have paid twice what I did.
"If you're looking for me,
you better check under the sea,

Egnater Rebel 20

I play Blues, old rock and Jazz stuff, just jam material.
Love it to death. it's a great amp for practice or performance. it's one of those jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none. it does most genres pretty well, except deathblackcoregrindneoshredmetal. but if you have a boost, like a TS9 or some other OD, it can get pretty heavy. the bright and tight switches are great for shaping your tone. the tube switching feature is by far it's best asset. i used to have it cranked tot he EL84 side, but now i have it a couple notches from the middle towards the 6V6 side. it give it a fender-ish sound.

My main amp is a vox VR30, and metal it doesent do without some quality pedals, however, turn the master voloume down and the clean channel voloume up and here some intense blues tone

Well enough, I'm hoping I'll like it even more once I pump a Maxon or Full Tone OD into it. It just a shade shy of the heaviness and distortion I am looking for.

Not really what i want but at least it's not a Spider.
Fender American Special HSS Stratocaster
Ibanez 1987 Roadstar II Deluxe
Yamaha THR10X
Marshall JCM900 SL-X
Ibanez WD-7 Weeping Demon Wah
TC Electronic Polytune
Seymour Duncan Tweakfuzz
Fender Blues Jr, USA made with ElectroVoice EVM-12L speaker.

Love it! Wish it had a tiiiiny bit more clean headroom/volume in general.

Traded it for a modified VK112 that I paid $250 for then added a $75 speaker to. Apparently the EV speaker costs like $300 so I think I got the better deal!

I play all kinds of stuff, mostly ska, blues, fuzzy progressive muse stuff, hard rock, and whatever on it. Having an OCD, DS1, and Fuzz Factory helps quite a bit.

Telecaster - SG - Jaguar
Princeton Reverb, Extra Reverb
P-Bass - Mustang Bass
