Their drummer was drumming for my friend not too long ago, I believe he quit in January. My band was gonna do a show with them but we kinda stopped practicing and I moved on.

oh how I miss them.

I almost put them on, because I miss them too, but I didn't since the Mars Volta is still running, and they're at least the most important parts of At The Drive-In

You mean "Gods of the Earth", or the bundle with "Age Of Winters'" and "Gods of the Earth"? I knew about that and the Metallica thing.

Just haven't heard any recent news about them.

I know, I miss the straightforwardness and intensity. It took me a while too, but that's mostly because I got Bedlam In Goliath first. But the second I heard L'via L'viaquez from Frances The Mute, I was hooked

It's ok, we can ignore his drastic overuse of the crash symbol and boring drum fills for a little while longer.

Herman ri2 can't be perma banned. I'm a god.

But seriously, I was allowed back because I man'd up and showed them that I was sorry for being a bit harsh on his friend.

2006 was their last album and they made 2 greatest hits albums with one being singles and the other being B sides, but moreso I meant the good Goo, they kind of suck now.

Yeah, after Dizzy Up The Girl, they went the "ooh! Our ballad got famous, let's only write ballads!" route...it was saddening, they used to make me happy because they sounded so much like my 3rd favorite band, The Replacements, but no, not anymore...
