I need a bloody new amp, i have 950AUD.
I am going to start a hardcore punk band but i also play a lot of metal.

I love me a good tight low end punchy tone.. look at Periphery for an example.

It would need to be gig worthy and i would like a 2x12 combo or a head and maybe i could scab some money for a 2x12 cab.

I've looked into Bugera but i'm really skeptic about the reliability, i haven't had any good luck with buying guitar gear, all my gear has been in for repair.. -.-

Thanks for suggestions.

Bugeras are fine. You dont need to worry about the reliability just because they are owned by behringer. The bugera's are different.
So if you like the bugera, get it.

I was in music shop few days ago and asked about the 09 models and they said they're still having people send them in for repair

Behringer is pretty low end stuff in both sound quality and reliability.

EDIT: Why would it's tube amps be any different?

Go a Bugera, they are extremely good amps for the price and the reliability problems are exaggerated.

Unless you can get another 500 bucks on top of your current funds, you can find a fair amount of decent amps used on ebay.

You won't find a decent valve amp with that much money, unless you want a 30 watt valve amp and rely on pedal distortion... Or you go the SS route.
