Hi there guys, stupid question inbound!

How well does good old fashioned water work for cleaning a les paul? do I really need to go out and get some spray polish? or can I just get by with a microfiber cloth and some H20?

just use a damp cloth... A les paul really isn't much different from other guitars.

if your going to do it make sure the cloth is more dry than wet...

the polish is 4.99 in any currency and will last you a couple of years

and use lemon oil(not actual lemon juice) on the fingerboard.......

if your in dire need of cleaning some crud off your fingerboard and you dont wanna use water then moistening a bit of cloth with some spit works, the enzymes (however you spell it) help break away the crap, but only use a bit and only as long as you've cleaned your teeth before hand haha
