Pete Doherty announced in NME interview that The Libertines will play festivals in 2010.
Should be well good.

I read about that, but he says at the end that he still hasn't got confirmation from Carl Barat whether he'll return.

EDIT: :Link
Does it offend you, yeah?

They don't strike me as a festival band, would rather see them play a smaller venue

Aye he also said he would consider doing it without him.
Wouldn't be the same though

This is all panning out quite well, if they play Titp i will be over the moon.
That would mean The Libertines, Kasbabian are apparently in talks, and a guess of Arctic Monkeys all headlining next year. Would be the best year ever.

That'll be Reading 2010 then.

Could be good.

Alright, I'll give them a try, Japanese Black Speed rarely disappoints.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.

I've heard all this bull**** about how the Libertines saved British music...but when I ask anyone to name one of their songs, they don't know...

They seem to have been built up on hype, instead of an actual legacy.

Their summer shows will fail.

Oh and Pete is a ****ing MESS live, the rest of the band can't carry a tune, never mind that dead weight.

I know! Isn't it fantastic!

Sarcasm aside, that's kind of why I love them so much, other than the great songwriting.
