This might be in the wrong place, I never really post on UG, But does anyone know any other music that is similar to Kamelot and Coheed and Cambria? I enjoy the opera style rock.

Kamelot is power metal, and Coheed and Cambria is progressive rock. So just look for any progressive or power metal.

Try Dream Theater, Blind Guardian, Primal Fear, Helloween, and Dream Evil

Or just go into Pandora..since I doubt Pandora will give you "I Cum Blood"

Like imdeth mentioned, Angra is awesome. The guitar player is really outstanding too.

Yes! Kiko Loureiro (Angra guitarist) is awesome! He has cool ESP sigs too.

Symphony X anyone? Seriously, Paradise Lost is an epic album. Symphonic, Preogressive Power Metal.

Youuuuu want recommendations but you caaaan't haaaaave itttttttt.

Anyways, I always thought Mars Volta were a little like Coheed in a way.

And +1 to the guy who said Symphony X.

I would tell you to take it to the artist recommendation thread, but, that's hardly helpful at all, I had a question up for 2 weeks before I got an answer, and the answer was just "Sorry, I dunno"

Old Nightwish rocks, if you don't mind difficult to understand female vocalists. Check out Gethsemane (sp?), End of All Hope, Dark Chest of Wonders, and Planet Hell by them, my favorites.

Rush-2112, A Farewell to Kings, and Hemispheres if you want progressive rock.

If you like them, I'd also recommend Fly By Night and Caress of Steel.

Holy ****, I'd completely forgotten about these old Nightwish songs. That piano part at the beginning of Gethsemane is fantastic. There was one similar to it. Dark pharaoh sails to Orion or something like that. Marco sings like a motherbitch in that record
